Boreal Chorus Frog (Pseudacris maculata)

Description: 1 - 1¼ inches. Boreal Chorus Frogs are tan to brown, with three dark stripes running down the back. These stripes may be broken to form three rows of dots and dashes. A broad dark stripe passes through the eye and runs down the length of the body.

Similar Species: Spring Peepers are similar in color and size, but have an X on the back instead of three stripes or rows of dots. Blanchard's Cricket Frogs are similar in size, but have very bumpy skin.
